Dogsh!t, et al...
I have to tell you, I feel so "chic" in the morning when I trundle back up the hill from my walk with the dog, carrying at least one (sometimes two) bags of dogsh!t. Just makes my day when people go by in their cars and wave (yes, people wave at each other around here), and I have to raise "the bag" in salute.
Some days, I think I should just leave it, as so many others do, for the next dog to sniff and reflect on before putting its own stamp (literally) on the detritus. More often, I remember how very angry I get when other dog owners neglect to pick up after their animal, and I have to drag mine away before she makes a total fool of herself.
As those of you who read my blog know, we live in a condominium townhouse complex, which we love. At the moment, in our little hollow, there is only one other dog, and he/she is an infrequent visitor; however, that does not prevent it from leaving behind definite signs of its being here! Apparently, its owner is totally clueless and leaves the evidence for all to see. The boss has suggested we put it in a bag and leave it at the front door. Tempting as that is, that would just cause retaliation methinks, as the owner is obviously not your clever sort and would probably not get the meaning, only the intent. So, it falls to us, probably me, to contact the Board (they have rules police, you know!) to get "them" to tackle the problem.
Just another day in paradise.
