Coffee always fresh...

Coffee always fresh...

Just sitting here, waiting for Cogego to come and install phone and Internet. Bell will be history. Don't need the aggravation.  Of course, all the providers have their ups and downs, but Bell has just become too big and uncaring. I've had glowing reports about Cogeco, so...

It's chilly again and drab. I have started my powder room door project. Letters and numbers from the craft store. Can you guess what they "say?" I will post them when they are on the door.

We had a really full day yesterday. Went to the bank in Orillia to close the account of my late friend. Then, went to Michael's for glass for a frame and landed up getting a whole new frame and mat for the picture as the glass was only $15 less than the whole thing. Oh, well. My mother loved the picture, and it is an original water colour from Bermuda, so it's worth it. But when I got back in the car, the boss said he always disliked it!  Ugh. You just can't win.

We drove to Barrie to see Matt's new house. Oh, you missed that part right? Well, they had to sign off on the house in Toronto and release it, lest they be on the hook for it. They found a lovely townhouse in Barrie, brand new, near schools and shopping, for less which gave them more house and a yard and a garage. So they put an offer in on it and got it. Now, the condo just has to sell.  Keep your collective fingers and toes crossed.  Barrie would be much better for me... selfish person that I am.  I can drive there in 45 minutes and have a great excuse for shopping!  Anyway, the house is lovely. It backs onto open fields at the moment and will be perfect for them. Three bedrooms, full basement. Great for Mumford, too.  A yard of his own! Andrea voiced she might start her own private care business.  Who knows?

We also got rid of tons of stuff from the house. Tried the Restore, but they were closed.

Will keep you posted (so to speak) on Cogeco and craft.
