My feelings, exactly!

Good morning, all! I am supposed to go on an "adventure" with Jackson today. It probably will involve spending money and eating stuff I shouldn't, but I will be with one of my lovely grandchildren, all of whom I see far too seldom these days. It's like having an empty nest again. I love where I live; the house is wonderful; the neighbourhood is great. I love living in a town again, but it's really no compensation for family.

So, I shall just have to go to them more often!

I went to the Bracebridge Arts and Crafts Christmas show yesterday. What wonderful things! So many talented people. I found "just the right thing" for a few people on my list. The rest will just have to wait for inspiration to strike... who knows? Maybe today? Although I have the feeling today will involve sports stores, but you never know.

The weather office tells us we are to have snow all week. I do hope it stops for Matt's move. They are taking over a lovely little house in Dunsford (near Lindsay) on November 25, so I hope there isn't a blizzard that day... somewhat reminiscent of our moving day in January this year!  I hope never again!
Well, my friends, give thanks for the day and enjoy it!

  1. Glad you got to spend some time with Jackson. Hoping the snow stays away or at least doesnt get so deep that they cant move into their new house. Stay warm.
